What we process
When you send the form: name, email, optional organisation and your message (including preferred cabin, dates and guests if you provide them). Legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries.
How it is sent
The form posts to a PHP script on our web host (Hostinger), which forwards the enquiry as email to our address via the host mail function. The message is not stored in a website database, and the script does not log its contents.
Abuse protection
To limit abuse, a pseudonymous identifier (SHA-256 hash of the IP address and domain) and a counter are stored in a temporary file outside the public web area. It covers a 15-minute window and is deleted on later requests once the window has expired. Maximum five attempts per window.
Retention
Emails are kept in our inbox as long as needed to follow up the enquiry and any agreement. We have not set a fixed period; you may request deletion at any time.
Cookies and local storage
We use no analytics or tracking cookies and load no external fonts or media. Your choice in the consent banner is stored in browser localStorage (key “cabinas-space-consent”). You can change it from the footer.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and to withdraw consent. Email us. You may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
Hosting
The website is hosted by Hostinger, which may process technical server logs under its own terms.
